Avana is a large neighborhood in Southwest Austin by Circle C. The bulk of the new homes are just South of Highway 45, though a future section will be on the North side. Homes started construction in 2011, and there are several different sized home sites and a diversity of detached single family homes available. All homes are built by one of my favorite Austin builders – Standard Pacific Homes.

The initial houses at Avana Esquelle were built on 55′ lots and varied from just under 2000sqft to just under 2900sqft. The homes started in the mid $300,000s to around mid $400,000s. In 2014 work will commence on the amenity center with picnic center, pool, playscape and pavilion, while larger home sites are also being offered for sale with some 75′ and even 100′ lots too, many backing up to green belts. The Maravilla homes at Avana are both one and two stories and are from just over 3000sqft to just under 4500sqft, and start in the $500,000s.

The Southwest Austin corridor is very popular due to the nearby amenities and location, and the extreme shortage of resale homes in Circle C. Commuting options vary as access to 290, Toll route 45, I35 and MoPac is extremely easy from the entrance to the neighborhood. Schools are in the Austin Independent School District, and are popular with relocating families.

Retail and dining options are broad nearby, and the largest Austin mall is close – Barton Creek Square.
