It sums up Pflugerville real estate – it is nestled between the major employers of Round Rock and the alternative culture of Austin. So if you’re prepared to commute a little, you can have the best of both worlds and enjoy the less dense development.
The price points are much more reasonable here, and there is a variety of housing stock which includes master planned communities like Blackhawk, Falcon Pointe and Avalon, plenty of new builds and a small more historic district from when the railroad started to swell the area at the start of the 1900s.
There are many family friendly amenities in the area – from the large lake that supplies the city with water (and fishing, jogging, canoeing and windsurfing opportunities) to the Hawaian Falls water park and five hundred acres of parks. Retail is well catered for with a variety of stores along I35 and the Stone Hill Town Center near the intersection of 45 and 130.

The area is served by Pflugerville Independent School District with 20 elementary schools, 6 middle schools and 4 high schools.
