You could have a steam train
If you’d just lay down your tracks

I went to see Peter Gabriel in 2014! Apparently Sledgehammer is the most played video on MTV ever.

Feeling unknown
And you’re all alone
Flesh and bone
By the telephone
Lift up the receiver
I’ll make you a believer

I’m not sure if this song is about salvation or heroine addiction.

      Doug Ballew · February 5, 2015 at 12:43 pm

Garreth, now that you mention it, it does sound like addiction. However, being addicted to heroine is much different than being addicted to heroin.

Why do I find it hard to write the next line?
Oh I want the truth to be said

Sylvia · January 30, 2015 at 8:59 am

Hey, my love, you came to me like wine comes to this mouth grown tired of water all the time
You quench my heart, and oh, you quench my mind

Elodie Coronado · January 30, 2015 at 9:30 am

You keep your distance with a system of touch, and gentle persuasion. I’m lost in admiration could I need you this much?oh you’re wasting my time, you’re just just just wasting time….

Juliette Buck · January 30, 2015 at 11:25 am

Said if you, want to call me baby
Just go ahead now
And if you like to tell me maybe
Just go ahead now
And if you wanted to buy me flowers
Just go ahead now
And if you like to talk for hours
Just go ahead now!

Colleen Kenny · January 30, 2015 at 12:25 pm

She’s a maniac, maniac on the floor. And she dances like she’s never danced before.
